Phillip G. Burchfield, Ed.D. RSS
The Clinton Public School District has a rich tradition of superb leadership in the superintendent's office. I am very humbled and honored to be part of that tradition. As a member of the Clinton community for almost 20 years, I have grown to appreciate the support and the expectations that the Clinton community has for its public schools. Year in and year out the Clinton Public Schools, through the leadership of its building-level administrators and our highly qualified teachers, provides its boys and girls the best learning environment that can be found anywhere.

Our accreditation levels — which are based on the performance of our students on state-mandated tests and our success in the performing arts and playing fields — are merely examples of the excellence that has traditionally defined the Cinton Public School District. As our school district looks to the future we will continue to engage our stakeholders as we pursue excellence in teaching and learning.
